Buju Banton is still a lyrical genius. We are eagerly awaiting what “Untold Stories” that is a part of his “Destiny” which he will compose in a musical legacy when he becomes a free man again.
The world knows that Jamaica is the hub for Reggae and Dancehall artiste birth. We have some of the most musically talented individuals born on this our little island paradise.
One such talented individual is no other than Mark Myrie aka Buju Banton.
This is the year that a lot of music fans have been waiting to see its beginning and even more so its end.
December 2018, is the month that one of Jamaica’s best deejays will be freed. Even though he has been incarcerated for over nine years, we know Buju Banton is still a musical genius that has the ability to record soul searching and mind uplifting songs.
During last year, Buju Banton took to his official Facebook page to pen the following heartfelt words to his fans.
“To all of my fans who have stood beside me, I thank you. Your actions, letters, and heartfelt prayers have been appreciated. I thank you and am humbled by your kindness – I am with you and you with me. Always. I will be with you again soon – they may have the past and present … but the future belongs to us. Bless…”
Until that grand day when Buju Banton steps on the soil of his homeland, Jamaica, listen to some wise words from Buju and let us keep true to each other.
